When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. - Victor Frankl

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I am hoping that by reading this page, you can learn a little bit more about me and my approach to therapy, so you can decide whether you think you and I can work well together.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in the East Bay Area and have over 10 years of clinical experience in the field of Counseling and Social Work. I hold a Masters Degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and have provided psychotherapy to a diverse population using a variety of therapeutic approaches to aid in the process of healing. I offer short-term, evidence-based therapy for various issues and challenges. My sessions are typically once a week for 50 minutes for about 12-15 weeks, although that time frame can vary depending on individual need. I work best with clients who feel stuck and stagnant, and who may exhibit self-debilitating and/or anxious behaviors due to past traumas. I also provide biblically-informed therapy for those seeking Christian Counseling. In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples and provide relationship and premarital counseling.

My goal is to create a safe space where we can work together to identify problems and patterns, address blind spots, and find solutions to life's obstacles. My clinical approach is direct and nonjudgmental, and offers both compassion and encouragement. You can expect for me to be fully engaged with you during session, and there are no topics that are off limits. While I am a firm believer that we have been equipped with all the tools to manage the issues we face in life, I also know that it takes time and work to explore and develop our innate strengths and abilities. So find comfort in knowing that whatever you are currently facing, you do not have to do it alone. If you are ready for growth and change, and you think that you and I can work well together, give me a call and let's do this!
